"Loved my stay (in the female only dormitory) - the bedroom, shower rooms and toilets were soo clean, very impressive. Did not use the kitchen much, but was not able to find green teas or coffee - maybe I just did not know where to look. Met friendly fellow travellers . Front desk host helped me with my luggage (rooms are upstairs) This place is great, quiet, and located near Hida No Sato - BUT rather far from downtown Takayama. I missed the bus from and to the station… and had to lug my ever...

"Incredible and unique experience to stay at this property! It was VERY VERY cold though (mid Feb). No real heating aside from space heaters dispersed around the temple. We are Canadians and used to the cold and at times it was uncomfortable. Despite this, we’d stay again. Our kids loved the rice ball making class and we did the spirit awakening experience as well which was very cool. "

"近高山車站，適合趕車的旅客。然而，旅館三點後才有職員，三點前到達無法存放行李，或是放在無人看管的公共空間。Check out後存放行李要收費（三點後取才要？），但仍是放在無人看管的公共空間😂。房間空間足夠，但牆壁以及浴簾皆有不少發霉，清潔程度不足。如價錢相差不大，建議考慮其他旅館。"

"The staff was helpful and worked hard to communicate with us, especially considering our very limited Japanese. The shuttle they provided was convenient. The activities were fun! The only complaint was the common shower. We knew that going in, but would have preferred showers in the room."
