"This place is horrible. Sheets are all full of stains. Shower is full of mold. Towels are full of stain. Horrible, horrible. It was a transfer night for us and we wanted to be close the the airport. This place was rated as 3 stars. If it Wanstead’s late at night, and I had checked the beds first, I would just leave and give up what I paid for another place. Unfortunately it was too late and the grab driver was gone. "

"New building in the heart of the Indian district. Room was in great condition, bed was comfy, the lack of windows was a bit disorienting, but it was a great place to rest after a long day. I'd stay there again."

"Economy room is a shoebox size with bed and AC just enough room to open the door, fore warning there is no soundproofing at all and as rooms are on Lower floor and close to metal staircase you can hear people going up and down all night long. Ok for 1 or two nights or book better room "

Check-in was listed as 2pm 2) Toilet was broken and no soap was provided 3) Broken window that could not close in the room let in all noise from busy street 4) Room was hosed down to clean it making everything in room and bathroom wet, including the toilet paper. Dark hairs still in the bathroom sink 5) Received smaller room than booking 6) No water or basic toiletries like shampoo provided "

"The Lavana hotel was in a great location. Near central market and in the heart of Chinatown. The hotel was a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reasonable value for money. The area was one of the homeless hotspots at night. They were not a problem and kept themselves to themselves. Nice people going through hard times. I would consider staying again. "
