"Excellent location. Room was ready on arrival we stayed for 4 nights room was not serviced for the duration of our stay. Facilities were good although the shower was very feeble and water was deathly hot(burnt my foot on one occasion before I was aware).TV, Kettle, safe, coffe,tea, towels and toiletries in room so well stocked however when I asked for more coffee and loo roll these were not supplied, I had to go and get them. Overall a good stay and great value for money."

"Booked this hotel last minute as a stop over on the way to London and glad we did. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy as well as being well decorated and comfy. Quaint little bar and restaurant is attached, we didn't eat but did enjoy a drink in the courtyard style patio. We were given a ground floor room (named wisteria) that was a great size with a huge bathroom, the room had a smart TV and some very welcome air-conditioning during a heatwave. "The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...
