"A great hotel to stay at. Very quirky, friendly staff and good food. Very extensive drink selections ie cocktails and beers. Room we stayed in was roomy,very clean and facilities were excellent. Hotel conveniently placed via a short walk into city. "

"The standout features of this hotel were the friendly welcome and helpfulness of the staff, the breakfast which included a choice of kippers, the view of the Thames from the dining room (I watched an angler catching a fish from the opposite bank and swans and ducks were swimming on the river), the honesty bar and there was a teapot in my room with the tea and coffee and biscuits which I really appreciated. "Have stayed at the fox a few times over the years it in a great position at junction 5 of the M40 The room i stayed in had been refufurbished and restaurant had recently been refurshished I would recommend the hotel maybe as a stop before getting into London "
