"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

Alongside a small fridge, Coal Shed provide a range of tea and coffee options in the room with crockery and cutlery to hand. A shared kitchen was kept clean and well stocked with equipment and oil for cooking, if you decide to stay in. "Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax."

The decoration was unique and really pleasant, the bathroom was lovely, and the bed was very comfy. We also really enjoyed having keypads to access both the building and room so we didn’t have to worry about keys/cards."
