"Self check in smooth. Provided towels and bath maths, coffee, tea, etc. However, cleanliness of the entire place was quite abysmal. I've stayed in hostels and cheap stays like this all over the world and this was probably one of the worst in terms of cleanliness. There was a used tissue inside a Lou roll, hair all in the shower, and the room I stayed in was like someone had chain smoked in the room without the window open leaving me coughing all night. The kitchen smelled so bad I can't imagine...

"I booked the stay a week in advance, I should have received an email 24 hours before check-in with the details of how to access the property. This did not happen, I went to the property, knocked on the door, no-one answered, I rang the owner and left a message, they did not respond, at 9pm that evening I received an email with the details. I had already found and paid for another room. I expect a full refund "

"When we arrived, he wasn't sure if I had a booking. Waiting outside the property in the pouring rain for 40mins before I got in. When I called they didn't pick up and there was no in the property to assist. The password gave was the wrong one initially and then messaged the right one after waiting for over 40mins. The toilet seat is right by a radiator and could sit properly as the heater continuesly touch you and heat burns. When we entered we had to clean the toilets as they were let dirty....
