"We spent 10 days here. For the price this was lovely and located in quiet Castelluzzo. Retreating here after long days of visiting touristy areas was a treat and felt like we were in our own oasis. Anna was a lovely host also and nothing was too much trouble. Will visit again and recommend."

"Plus: excellent location. Good value for money. Plenty of hot water. Good size room with nice view. Historical building with high ceilings. Comfortable bed. This place has potential. Minus: staff not very helpful ...a bit of a sicilian version of Fawlty Towers. The shower was full of mould and the toilet seat was broken. Squeaky bed...not great for a romantic weekend."

"So this place was ultra modern. It was spotless and had a full ensuite kitchen and dining area . It would have been fabulous but two things spoilt it , 1. it was so modern with black light switches that you could not fond them to turn on when they were off , maybe painting the switches white or red would sort out the problem. It was so fustrating . 2. the bathroom smells like a street sewer . This is no fault of the hotel but rather the toilet water is from the old city smells like sulphur and...

Easy 15-minute walk from the train station - taxis are available, but definitely taking advantage of the short trip to the center with the prices they charge. The hotel is in an older building. "The only advantage of the property was that it was close to the Central Station. We booked for two nights but when we saw the place, we stayed one night only. Senior citizens should definitely avoid it, as you have to climb several flights of stairs inside a very dilapidated building to get to the b&b. I cannot for the life of me understand why the Rough Guide and Expedia recommend it. Surely there must be more decent places in Palermo. I say, Keep looking!"

"This property is essentially a B&B. don’t let the exterior scare you off. Room was very clean and the property had a rooftop terrace. Alessandro is a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. Bear in mind there is no elevator so you need to climb about 5 flight of stairs. Location is in the heart of Palermo within walking distance of everything."

"Slightly quirky rooms, that were super nice with fresh and well done finishes. The girl that did check-in was super friendly and helpful and made me breakfast to take to my room for the next day due to being an early check-out prior to normal breakfast times. The room was very comfortable and modern, with an arty twist. Easy enough to find and access in what felt to be a safe location. I had a super good last nights sleep in Sicily here before heading to the airport. Parking was a challenge...

"Das Hotel war okay. Es war schwierig auszumachen wo denn eigenlich die Lobby ist. Diese befindet sich im 2.OG unter anderem Namen. Das muss man erst mal wissen und wenn nicht jemand gekommen wäre hätten wir das nicht erfahren. Zudem stimmte die angegebene Telefonnummer nicht. Das Zimmer war okay. Das Frühstück etwas schmal aber die Leute am Empfang waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit."
