"Hotel Grand Wagner is a Grande Dame. Lovely traditional hotel from an era gone by....only issue to be aware of is the noise. A lot of street traffic day and night is the only downside. Otherwise staff and amenities are above par. Also a really good location. "

"We spent three days at the property. Have absolutely no complaints. The restaurant meals, complimentary breakfast and their snack bar food were all fabulous. We participated in a wine tasting dinner, it was great. Also did a wine tour which was very interesting. Their staff are lovely, the grounds are extensive and make for fabulous hiking. All around, we'd go back in a heartbeat."

"This is a charming hotel, half way up the hillside, surrounded with olive, fig and lemon trees. The hosts are very welcoming, the food is home cooked and lovely and the views stunning. Rooms are old fashioned and comfortable and the pool area is quiet and relaxed. You need a car to make the most of exploring the local area and getting down to the beach and supermarket."

The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"
