"The hotel was understaffed at check-in. We waited 5+ minutes at the front desk to check-in. The beds were very comfortable. The refrigerator in the room did not work, which didn't matter for us but should have been checked. The room had an odd smell when we arrived but seemed to abate. The hotel backs up to a trucking company so lots of back up beeping early in the morning. Breakfast was managed as best it could be with the crowd."

"Spent the night after the AC/DC concert. Light rail took us from the airport directly to the hotel and then to the concert venue! The staff was terrific, and the room was clean and comfortable. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Great job, Hampton Inn & Suites Minneapolis University Area!"

"Hot tub and pool lots of hot water quiet quaint rooms with everything you need to have a great time hot chocolate coffee and tea ready at anytime. All the amenities of a huge place in a small place the staff was knowledgeable helpful and available to help us at anytime it was a pleasure to stay here. A few sketchy moments around the property late night yet overall safe controlled entrance late night helps rooms did need a few updates yet were clean neat and temperature controlled easily."

"The entrance to the hotel was very inviting, as was the front desk staff. My only dislikes are that there was only one waffle maker, and the line was extremely long. Having small children with their hearts set on waffles, but having limited time, was difficult. Upon entering our room, there was garbage on the floor next to the bed, and the bed sheets were dirty. Other than that, we had a nice stay. "
