"Although this was more than walking distance from city of Ponta Delgada it still was close enough to drive, bus, etc. There were shopping and dining options in and near the hotel. Staff at front desk and bar were great, and we enjoyed it here for our last day before our flight, and drove to city after check out before we flew home in the afternoon."

"Since I was benefitted from reading others’ comments, want to document my experience in case it is helpful for anyone in future. First, the most positive is the location. To south, it takes 10 minutes to walk to waterfront/downtime. To north, walk less 10 minutes for gas station and a large shopping complex in which you may find food court, grocery store, etc. During peak season, probably convenient to walk around instead driving and trying to find a parking spot. "The Asian restaurant had a chef that created a beautiful vegan dinner especially for me. The spa services were divine. The facility is beautiful and clean, and the staff very pleasant. Recommended!"

"Great hostel, guests were quiet and respectful. Tap cards access the doors and lockers. I would have loved to leave my bag in a locker, but that was not available so I left it under the stairs and came back later for it for an additional 5Euro. "
