"Loved this place so much we booked to stay longer. Fantastic location just 5 mins walk from the national park beach which is stunning. The grounds of the hotel are lovely with two pools to cool down in after a hot day in the beach. Staff are exceptionally helpful snd kind. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and a Mexican restaurant just along the road. We had the superior double room with a large kitchen and terrace so nice that we went to Maxi Palí supermarket at the end of the road...

"This place is picturesque and has potential, but the staff was inattentive and seemed bothered when we asked for anything. We had to search the grounds for someone to come to check us in. The bartender wasn’t around for at least the first 20 mins of happy hour. We were told a lot of things were not done properly (room cleaning) or not working (hot tub) b/c of electricity issues (to be fair, it is rainy season and there were thunderstorms each night and it sounds like they were working off...

"We had a lovely stay! The owners are very kind and responsive and were happy to help us with advice on what to do and booking tours, and also happy to let us do our own thing. "This hotel is a wooden cabin which has more of a hostel feel. It is far from Uvita’s centre and it’s hard to get a taxi or food delivery to the hotel. You need to go through a dirt road to get here. The breakfast was scarce and the rice reheated from the day before (I hope). The room felt humid even though the aircon was on. No wifi reached the bedroom. Expensive for the accommodations. Having said that, the grounds and beautiful and staff was kind. "

"The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful. We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening. The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love."
