"This hotel listing is incorrect we booked a hotel we thought was in Whitby but this property has been closed for at least the last few months and apparently this hotel is actually in hawes 80miles from Whitby despite all info showing it is in Whitby so we turned up in whitby , no hotel and nowhere else to stay at an affordable price in the Easter holidays so had to go home Do not book this hotel until the issues sorted - check trip advisor we are not the only ones who have been affected "

"It was ok. The hotel will not suit everyone. The webpage is misleading. No pool, no games room, no bar no dining room. No lounge no conservatory access. My room was fine, it had four beds. All very basic. No heating, it was chilly for april. An electric vector heater provided. It had everything I needed. Kettle, hot water, shower, nice view. I reckon it is also transit accomodation for asylum seekers and/or refugees. Which was fine for me. No noise, in fact I saw very few people. No staff at...

"Really good location, spotless and a excellent breakfast each morning. We had a large, comfortable bedroom with an amazing view of the abbey (room 7). Tamzin is very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. We were given a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Will definitely go back - Anne and Steve."

One night stay in family room which was perfectly set out with kids feeling like they had their own room and we had a good space to ourselves aswell to relax while they were sleeping. The staff were very friendly and accommodating letting us grab drinks from the bar and take to room. Even opened us a bottle of our own wine to take up!! "Really nice hotel. The staff member i met was helpful. I had a small single room which had everything i needed for my short stay. It was clean and looked well maintained. I didn't have any meals there but the dining rooms looked clean and well decorated. I would stay again."
