The area might make some people feel uncomfortable, but I never felt threatened. 2 metro stations are close by and you can be in the centre quite quickly. Possibly factor in taking a taxi from the metro to the hotel if you’re travelling back late and you’re not used...

"Great location on the Left Bank in a quiet area. Can walk easily to many sites like Notre-Dame and the Louvre. Plenty of chouce in nearby cafés and restaurants. Also convenient for public transport, including to CDG airport by RER B. Room was spacious and clean, staff were very helpful. Simple, nice breakfast. Elevator is a little small if you have lots of luggage."

"I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be as nice as it was so low cost. I was so wrong. Lovely hotel, reception staff really nice and very thorough on arrival. The rooms are compact but they were clean and had everything that we needed for a base. Breakfast was fine, some fruit would have been lovely but other than that it was grand. "
