"The Lodge is located right on the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway, which was the reason we were in the area. The facility is very nice. The staff, made up of students, were efficient, but not very outgoing. Our room had a dirty washcloth still hanging on the shower, and a shirt that was left from the previous occupant (which we took to the front desk). We didn't have hand towels until our second night. "Clean and comfortable. Not fancy but nice. Dog friendly area with large grassy area. Cabin was very clean, beds were comfortable (this is subjective of course). Bathroom is small, but usable. Would comment that shower/tub is very slippery and could use something to help with that. Great water pressure and nice hot water temp. Overall, very nice stay."

Conkles Hollow is a state nature preserve within the Hocking Hills region. Its sheer cliffs of Black Hand sandstone rise nearly 200 feet above the valley floor. The deep, cool gorge, which is only 100 feet wide in places and is considered to be the deepest in Ohio, has numerous waterfalls cascading over its sandstone cliffs. The lower trail through the gorge is about 1 mile and is accessible for the most casual of hikers. The rim trail is a couple miles long and is a bit more strenuous.
