"Centrally located to everything. Staff was attentive except for Monday morning when trying to check out. No one at reception desk for at least 10 minutes. Also no one restocking breakfast Monday despite over an hour left for it to be open. No biscuits or gravy, only a couple of egg and sausage patties left. Was a great disappointment after the good weekend service."

"This was the perfect property for a winter getaway with friends. The house was beautiful (even decorated for Christmas!), cozy, and we were so entertained! The hot tub was clean, and we enjoyed the pool table. "

"Communication with the host and property manager was excellent. When asked how to use the hot tub, we received a how to video! Beds were comfortable, great views, comfy furniture. Ping pong table was a plus and the air hockey and foosball are on the top floor. Would be nice to have some chairs up there while people are playing games. Looks like basement is being worked on, that will be a nice addition to an already great place. It's new and the kitchen area is awesome for cooking meals. We ended up not getting to hike 2 days due to my son getting sick, so we were happy to have sunch a nice place to relax in. We would definately stay here again. It's about 20-25 min from Old Man's cave area. There is a nice shopping center with stores, antiques, coffee about 7 miles from the house in Rockbridge. Thank you for sharing your house with us! "

"Our family get together of 22 over Thanksgiving found the property spacious and inviting. With seven children 7 and under, their parents, and their parents; there was plenty of kitchen space for food preparation and serving, adult and children space for entertainment, and outdoor space for play, walking and exercise. The proximity to Lancaster was great for shopping, restaurants and bars. Although there was a malfunctioning thermostat for the downstairs HVAC, the response on a holiday by the owner and his HVAC contractor was unbelievably timely. We made use of the dual downstairs TV’s for viewing the OSU-Michigan game with ample seating space for our large group. A number of attendees used both the hot tub and the sauna with me, personally, using both every morning. The pool, understandably, was seasonally covered. For our large family group, the property was very comfortable. Its central location was accessible for our driving from four states. We will strongly consider it for coming get togethers. "
