"The front desk check in super friendly, the sweetest person ever! I went in and talked to her, and I was thinking 'she is so sweet;, then my husband went in and said out loud 'she is so sweet. The next morning my daughter went for the to-go breakfast and came back and said "she was so sweet!" The room is large and comfy. "

"Room was great, cost was fine. Not having the trash emptied was an issue, other than that , no complaints "

"We have used this motel for decades. Our only issue was no additional coffee was replaced after our first night. But we did enjoy the breakfast."

"I loved the convenience of buying snacks and the cute little post cards for sale. I also thought the staff were very kind, courteous and polite! The rooms were clean and spacious! Loved the breakfast we had in the morning and the TV was very big! Great overall features in this hotel, will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"Very nice drive up to your room motel in Raton, NM. Has been here since late 1940’s but everything was exceptionally clean with some updates. Didn’t need anything more. Host was very friendly and made restaurant recommendations and which ones to avoid. Wife liked the towels, me too, and comfortable bed and pillows. Coffee in the office was welcome in the morning. "

"There are many people who have overly inflated expectations of what a hotel stay should be. The Springer Station takes those expectations and turns them on their head with a very characterful and charming experience. Sure, it's a shared bathroom place and the door knob on your room turns the wrong way but don't let that detract from the eclectic experience of staying in this historic building. The staff were pleasant enough, busying themselves with Halloween trick or treaters that evening....

"The staff was great, but the property is a bit old and needs a good remodeling, the light in the restroom wasn't working, and it wasn't the bulb that was bad, it was some kind of issue with the switch or wiring itself, the room had carpet floor but fills like there is tile floor under the carpet. Otherwise it was clean with no strange odors. for the price and a single night, it was good."
