The hostess left snacks, fruit, muffins, and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which we really appreciated. We often sat out on the large covered deck to enjoy a great view of the lake, which was what we were aiming for. (You cannot enjoy this view from inside unless you are sitting at the kitchen bar. "Cabin is very cute but ultimately for only 2 people. I requested a VRBO for 4 people in my search engine and this cabin populated that it could accommodate 4 people. Luckily only 3 of us traveled and the owner reached out to me (which was very nice ) so we brought our blow up mattress. The cot that was provided would not have been comfortable for my 18 year old. "Very quiet and tranquil! Had everything you need, stayed in the end of December and the two heaters worked great! Great hiking trains and 4x4 trails to see the elk!"

"The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again."
