"Hotel Calzaiolo is WONDERFUL! I had a very restful time there. Antonietta is a kind, charming owner, and was so sweet and helpful to me. She even had a taxi deliver a work bag for me after I forgot it in my hotel room! "We had a wonderful stay. The host, Luca, was great to communicate with prior to check in and met us at the property despite our arrival being a bit delayed. He provided a brief history of the area and the farm and gave instructions regarding the property. He also provided recommendations on restaurants and suggestions of where to park in Florence. "It was old, but we had trouble getting in, no elevator ( which we knew), the room was unbelievably small, the beds were broken down (deflated), from people sitting on the sides. I had to use a blanket rolled up to support my back enough to sleep. Shower didn’t work—sprayed all over, etc."
