"Have stayed at the fox a few times over the years it in a great position at junction 5 of the M40 The room i stayed in had been refufurbished and restaurant had recently been refurshished I would recommend the hotel maybe as a stop before getting into London "

"The standout features of this hotel were the friendly welcome and helpfulness of the staff, the breakfast which included a choice of kippers, the view of the Thames from the dining room (I watched an angler catching a fish from the opposite bank and swans and ducks were swimming on the river), the honesty bar and there was a teapot in my room with the tea and coffee and biscuits which I really appreciated. "Lovely guest house in a good location. We arrived earlier in the day before check in but were able to use the car park, called to say we had arrived and went off for the day - when we returned our keys were ready for us. Would stay here again."

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...
