"My family very much enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and it was easy to get to. The proximity to Cooperstown worked very well for us, as did the ability to fish right across the street from the property - my son and I spent a good deal of time casting from the docks. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Everything was wonderful except the over night temperature of room was stifling hot. We don’t know if there was a way to turn that down. Even after fireplace had been off for several hours it was terrible I ended up opening windows around 2am and that helped a bit. That is only complaint—and maybe it was just our lack of knowing if there was a thermostat. Otherwise it was amazing "

The Railroad Inn looked good on Expedia so I took the chance. I loved it! Super accommodating staff when I needed late check in, and a clean room with a comfortable bed. "Hotel staff was great. They gave us sleds to use on the hills next to the hotel. Hotel could use some updates but it was clean. The breakfast was great but the staff that took care of replenishing the breakfast and keeping things clean went above and beyond. He was up wiping tables constantly and making sure everything was clean and organized at the buffet, he even offered to make my son a special breakfast the following day but we were leaving. Very impressed! "
