"I stayed 5 days; the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The hall lights were on a sensor saved electricity but annoying for the guest. This was my second unintentional stay. This means that I choose this hotel on two separate occasions because of the price and amnesties. The rooftop was under renovations so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool. "I was a bit unhappy to find there was no elevator and I had booked a luxury room on the 3rd floor. Adrian told me he would be happy to help with my luggage but then he was able to switch some things around so I had a ground floor room. He still helped me with my luggage! He was very kind and helpful! Thanks for making my stay better!"

"The hostel is centrally located in Marbella...I walked to the Multiplex mall. There is No Hot water is my biggest issue. It hasn't been updated but I complain for the price point"

"As a Hostel close to Casco Viejo, La Cigarra is a good option. Very affordable and close to the amenities of Casco Viejo. It appears to be a family run business, they are very friendly and nice. It is a good place for backpackers. The location is not for everyone. "

"It is in a great location, close to many highlights in the Casco viejo, though that also makes is noisy at night. Old odd building with spacious, clean rooms with nice east-facing balcony on street to enjoy morning coffee. The staff presence at reception is spotty, which can be disconcerting. wonderful rooftop terrace to enjoy the evening!"
