As the date approached, I finally started looking through them—and I’ll be honest, the negative feedback had me seriously considering changing our accommodations. I’m so glad I didn’t. The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff went above and beyond—truly exceptional service. While the food wasn’t five-star gourmet, it was far from the awful descriptions I’d seen; everything we had was enjoyable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and didn’t feel outdated in the slightest. I’m genuinely surprised by the number of negative reviews this resort has received. Dreams Playa Bonita exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. My only minor complaint is that the room curtains aren’t blackout, so the sunlight comes in fairly early. If you’re a light sleeper or like to sleep in, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask. Without a doubt, I’d stay here again."

"Upon arrival the staff were helpful and pleasant. Front desk spoke both spanish and english and were very effecient. 2 min walk to supermarket and mall. Cafe and restaurants in the hotel. "

"Older property but very clean. Loved how quiet it was. We had an ocean view room. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the ships come by for the canal. Would definitely stay here again!"
