"Stayed here for 3 nights and it was ideal for our main attractions. A short walk to the Rijksmuseum and also the Van Gogh. The walk to Anne Frank house was just over a kilometre as was our canal tour. It’s a great place to walk and discover and we found some nice restaurants but even in November it’s best to reserve a table at night as it’s not as easy as I imagined to just walk up. "Great Hotel just adjacent to Leidseplein. Room ok size, very comfortable bed , excellent powerful shower, view was of another hotel breakfast room. Bit of noise bleed from other rooms, doors closing etc…. But not dreadful. Really nicely decorated and very clear Front of house staff very helpful. Breakfast basic, not worth the money and the honesty bar/fridge was locked up a bit early for a late evening night cap. Over all good stay and I’d stay again. "

"Beware if you have trouble with steps, there were 45 from front door to room 202. Of course they are narrow, that's typical. We found it charming, but we had only a small luggage and are in pretty good shape. It seems to have good security, and fair amount of hot water. Room 202 is a family room with a queen bed and 2 twins. Staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is a just few minutes walk to Hard Rock cafe and great restaurants. Get off the bus from the airport at leidsplain."
