"As nice as the owner and family are, I can't really recommend this place. Location is 2km out of town so you must have a car. Location is very quiet at night but in the hotel room you can hear water running from toilets etc in other rooms and people walking on the floor above. And I had some sort of tapping sound in my room early in the morning on the second night which made it hard to sleep. "An extraordinary experience. A two story room! Cozy hosts, a heated basement for ski equipment, only 4 min walk away from the lifts and ski rental. The only nuisance is that there are only two showers at the bottom and sometimes they are taken. There is a laundry room downstairs with coin laundry. The heater is too intense and partially melted my suitcase…be careful. Otherwise lovely stay. "

"The owner “Yama sang” and staff are so polite and nice. Yama sang would drop you off at ski resorts and major hotels and attractions if you need a ride. "We stayed for one wonderful week, with 1 room for 3, and 1 double room for 1. Our hosts provided for everything, including delicious dinners, one a sushi dinner and the other a pork based dinner. Both were beautifully done and a great way to experience traditional Japanese food. As a bonus for skiiers the Inn was only about 200 yards from the Annupuri gondola and walking distance to a variety of local restaurants. A delightful experience overall. "
