"The Red Lion is ideally situated in Bakewell,although there is no parking at the accommodation,there is plenty nearby. The only negative comment id make about the accommodation is the double bed is very small,other than that the rooms are very clean etc The town is very quiet,and there's not a lot happening on an evening "

"First impressions on driving up were worrying, as the exterior is poor, with the front littered with cigarette butts, and no parking (a sign on the wall would be helpful as it look as though you can park there). "Loved Staying here before the theme park Season really kicked off. My only issues are that checking out its best to do after 7.00. due to needing to phone to unlock the main doors if you require to leave before 7.00 Checking Inn at a late time can be problematic due to the main Gate connects to someones Mobile and Signal in the area is extremely poor"

"We had booked another hotel in the area and was told on arrival there were no rooms We found this property and booked very last minute an hour before check in They were really friendly and accommodating with all our requests Plenty of additional heating as it was a cold night so a lovely cosy room Excellent would highly recomend"

"Cottage was clean and well presented with lots of extra touches. Netflix was a bonus! Unfortunately the management company let down the whole experience. Security deposit required prior to releasing check in information, and we emailed them when we found a mouse in the property but they failed to respond. Also the cleaner was waiting for us to leave which wasn’t great! Parking is limited but luckily we found a space on arrival. Dog friendly but be aware no enclosed yard and dogs are not...

"The apartment is lovely furnished with a full kitchen and it is very clean and everything you need is ready. The hot chocolate and the biscuits are so lovely. Staffs are nice and ready to help. There is an ice cream farm nearby. The milk and ice cream are fabulous. "

"The staff were super friendly & the food excellent. They have just started serving breakfast which served in a lovely refurbished room. The pub had a great ambiance with a lot of locals calling in for a drink. Our room was warm, a good size & pleasantly furnished. We will definitely stay there again. "
