"Very convenient to the ski area and outdoor recreation activities in the area. It's an older place but the room was very spacious, with a nice fireplace/woodstove to keep the room warm. was very cold and icy when I was there. There is a store across the street/hiway with food, gas and souvenirs. Desk staff were very helpful and professional. We will for sure be back. Family friendly place would be fun with kids in the warmer weather. Also a coffee wagon in parking lot. Only issue was I was on...

I was needing a cabin that could serve for Thanksgiving dinner for my family who all came in from different states as my own house is under renovation right now and this get together was kind of unexpected. The staff was friendly and very helpful in executing this very complicated endeavor. They even provided extra chairs for everyone. "

"One of the greatest views in the Umpqua region with a very wide and lively stream at the backyard of the property. The sound of river can be heard in the cabin and, with no wifi or tv in the room, it is perfect place for digital detox (restaurant area has wifi). Food was pretty great (ravioli pasta is phenomenal). To our disappointment, the library was closed due to staff shortage. A bar is operation inside the library in normal times."

"Had a lovely time at Denise’s riverside cabin. Cozy place had everything we needed to cook meals, it was a short drive to soak at the fabulous Terwilliger hot springs, and what a delight to fall asleep to the sounds of the river. Can’t wait to come back "

"I wanted to celebrate my 50th in my favorite spot in Oregon. The Whiskey Rock Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, clean & cozy. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching the river roll by and cards in the evening next to the fire. My only complaint is we had to leave it behind to return to reality. We had a great time and will definitely be back. "
