Mountain Lodge, Fun in the Cascades

"Very convenient to the ski area and outdoor recreation activities in the area. It's an older place but the room was very spacious, with a nice fireplace/woodstove to keep the room warm. was very cold and icy when I was there. There is a store across the street/hiway with food, gas and souvenirs. Desk staff were very helpful and professional. We will for sure be back. Family friendly place would be fun with kids in the warmer weather. Also a coffee wagon in parking lot. Only issue was I was on ground floor and could hear people upstairs on second floor walking around so it was not very quiet until after 10PM."

Peaceful Cabin Stay

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. It was a wonderfully peaceful cabin with plenty of room both indoors and out. A whole entertainment space above the garage and large outdoor fire area. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the groceries we brought with us and the whole cabin has a cozy welcoming feel. We also explored Salt Creek falls about 20 minutes away which was a perfect hike with breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again! "

"One of the greatest views in the Umpqua region with a very wide and lively stream at the backyard of the property. The sound of river can be heard in the cabin and, with no wifi or tv in the room, it is perfect place for digital detox (restaurant area has wifi). Food was pretty great (ravioli pasta is phenomenal). To our disappointment, the library was closed due to staff shortage. A bar is operation inside the library in normal times."

Awesome house

"Very cool house! I was a little afraid it wouldn’t be as nice in person as the photos showed in the listing and it was, maybe even better!! Also it’s by far the best stocked home I’ve ever rented, we seriously needed nothing that wasn’t provided by the host! Cam (the host) responded very quickly to any questions and was very pleasant to deal with. My family will definitely stay at this house again! We highly recommend it!!"

Not cabin of our dreams

"Property was not very clean, seemed like cleaning crew had done the bare minimum. There was heavy pollen in both front and back porches and dust and dog hair inside. Kitchen small and difficult to use, no dishwasher, the sink was clogged and the faucet was loose and not functional correctly. Cabin really is small, we kept hitting our heads and shoulders on the rafters as the beds were hard to access. With a name like ‘cabin our your dreams’, we expected more. Pretty cool location though and the river was beautiful."
