An unexpected planned power outage during our stay was ni probkem with the property manager letting us know. They even supplied led lights for us we will definitely be back!!!!!"

"We wanted a cozy and peaceful getaway for our 20th anniversary, and a "basecamp" for exploring the McKenzie River area. This fit the bill and was exactly as depicted in vrbo. The place is right on the river and we enjoyed having coffee in the morning and reading with the river nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. The king bed was great--we both slept really well. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings; it added much warmth and coziness. This place isn't fancy, but we were looking for comfortable and a central location for our budget. My husband is already wanting to go back next year. "

"This stay was perfect right from the start as communication with Jonathan and Lisa was easily done. Clear instructions on using the cabin. Accurate descriptions of its appointments and surroundings. Clear directions for locating the cabin and how to care for it during our stay. Every single element of the cabin is just right. The architecture is perfection with attention to detail that makes it well above most river cabins. It’s well-equipped for cooks. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and warm. Warmth! The cabin is cozy in all ways. And there are decorative touches, such as original art, that make it very personal and that was especially nice. We’ve stayed in several river area places, but never any with riverfront access for fishing. This was a treat! We each caught trout within steps of the cabin. Having the privilege to bring our dogs was most appreciated. Having them with us enhanced our time there immeasurably. We hope to return in spring. We hope always to return. "
