"The check in was good. There was no one at the front desk when we came in, but I think they have a camera to show them when someone approaches the counter so the wait wasn’t long. The room was nice, but not excellent. The AC made a noise that was impossible to fall asleep with, and the road noise (and hall noise) was pretty loud. "Great hotel. We stay there whenever we visit Memphis. The best thing about this hotel is its location in the heart of downtown Memphis, walking distance from the Fed Ex Forum, the Orpheum Theater, and Beale Street. Also, if you're catching an Amtrak from Memphis, the hotel is the Amtrak station too. The worst part of the hotel is that the bar has a DJ who plays dance music WAY too loud in a room where there is no dance floor or dancing, so the people gathered for a drink can barely hear one...
