"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. Served with courtesy and plentiful. Also a nice daily variation. I would certainly reccomend this place if you are looking for...

"Hotel is in the middle of a trading estate and cut off from everywhere breakfast was though very good and probably worth the extra money. Would I stay again no it’s a tired place no kettle in room as per the pictures and quite tired. "

"We booked the hotel on Expedia around 10pm by 11:30pm we were at the hotel. We were not able to check in since there was nobody at the reception. We called the number provided, only to see the phone ringing at the reception but nobody to answer it. So we were left without hotel and 3 small children in the car. Obviously money was deducted from our account and now we have to chase the refund. I would be careful booking this hotel!!!"

The location is great, the auberge is in a village which feels very secluded because of the surrounding forest but is in reality perfectly placed as a staging post to or from southern France. On both the outward and home legs of our drive we were warmly received, rapidly booked in and quickly settled into our comfortable rooms.
