"Hotel Arolla is about a 5 minute walk from the funicular and rail station, and a minute from the old town. I cannot praise the owners enough for the kindness, hospitality and generosity they showed us when we stayed with them just as France went into 'containment' for the covid19 virus. "This hotel is perfect if you're traveling between Geneva and the ski resorts of the Tarenteise Valley (Val d'Isere, Meribel, etc). It would actually be perfect as a budget option if you're wanting to ski at Meribel/Courchevel. For me, I was also happy that the pillows fit my preferences- not too soft, a bit firm."
