"Room was spacious! The separated shower and toilet was a plus for us. It was very convenient! The alleys around the hotel were pretty either at morning or at night. And felt safe to walk anytime of the day or night time. There’s alao a very close seven eleven and family mart. Can’t praise this hotel enough! Highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay at Gion Kyoto. Even though it is located in a very busy tourist area of Kyoto it is not on a main street and is very quiet. My husband and I both slept great in the very comfortable twin beds. We also had tatami mats with a small table and cushions where we could enjoy small meals and tea. There was also a two seater couch with table and a large sliding glass door which we could open to let in fresh air. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay...

"Good location and close to Kyoto station. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The apartment was a bit smaller than we expected and was a little dingy. There is another building in front on our windows so no view or much light gets in. Has everything you you need including washing machine, microwave, cooker and utensils. Large TV screen than you can stream Netflix to for some end of night entertainment. Sofa was only big enough for 2."
