"We go to Cooperstown every December, and while this hotel is not walking distance to the main town, it is a very fast drive on just one road and there’s plenty of parking at that time of year. It’s also close to some wonderful restaurants we love, including Council Rock Brewing. "Second time we’ve stayed here when visiting family in the area. Our room the first time was a little nicer than the room this time. I think we got an ADA accessible room because it was quite big, but the carpet was a little older and had some stains. Other than that, the room was relatively clean. The included breakfast is a nice perk and there’s plenty of parking. "

"Hotel staff was great. They gave us sleds to use on the hills next to the hotel. Hotel could use some updates but it was clean. The breakfast was great but the staff that took care of replenishing the breakfast and keeping things clean went above and beyond. He was up wiping tables constantly and making sure everything was clean and organized at the buffet, he even offered to make my son a special breakfast the following day but we were leaving. Very impressed! "

"I'm glad that the listing no longer includes breakfast in the amenities list, because there is none. Owner did make some good restaurant recommendations when asked. A surprising lacking amenity was shampoo/conditioner, so take your own -- this is a budget hotel, quaint (decked out for the season) and sufficient.
