We were four floors from the ground and the clouds of cigarette and marijuana smoke that filled our room were awful. The air conditioner...

"Being off season no staff were on site, but the sister hotel up the hill enabled room access. Room was well equipped and generous size with views across the lake - though sadly was foggy. Breakfast was also in the sister hotel and had a good choice of hot and cold options freshly prepared."

"Walkable from the bus stop, but take note there's a flight of stairs (I counted about 78 steps) via the shortest route. There's also a luggage friendly slope, but it's a bit of a detour. Nice clean facility. Lights in the toilet and showers work on a timer. (press and countdown type) The shower light went off in the middle of my shower and I was plunged into pitch black darkness because there are no windows in the shower room. Thankfully I remembered roughly where the switch was.. Good...

"Although the room was a supposed to be superior, it was quite small and cramped. The mini bar made a lot of noise. The evening was unseasonably warm and it was very hot in the room. Opening the window was not a great option since the hotel is located on a busy roundabout. Too warm, too cramped, too noisy…"

We didn't try breakfast but we had dinner one night and it was really good. Its a proper french restaurant with a great chef, good service and rich wine list. There is some good communal areas with board games and tables. They also have a bar across the road that is a very nice and family friendly...
