"Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Lovely character hotel which could have been made something special with a bit of thought. Great location if you like staying in the centre of a town, not ideal if you don't. Very easy to find but the parking was dire. My room was of good size but needed updating I thought it expensive for what it was. It also was the hottest room I have ever stayed in with a little fan which was less than useless. Food was OK but nothing special. "

However, the bedding smelled like it was not dry and the pillow smelled, so I put on the cover I brought and slept. "This is a secluded mountain location. The staff are friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, it is a must if you are staying her to try the restaurant. There is a spa which I didn’t use. "

"Perfect small hotel in a wonderful location. I know there are some reviews stating people couldn't check in. We had no issues. We communicated once we landed in Spain our estimated ETA. Olats at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She gave us maps of the city, suggested sights to see, places to eat, and even gave us tips on transportation around Bermeo and to San Juan.
