My only caution is that it’s not a walk-in shower. Tub is high and awkward, shower head is located in the corner and does not have wrap around tub enclosure. "

"We had a lovely stay in Krakow at the 1891 Garni Hotel. Breakfast was lovely, staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The only fault we had is that we were on the top floor and it was quite hot at times and temperature control wasn't sufficient. Also the shower was a bit of a strange layout. Apart from that a lovely stay and would come back. "

Railway station is 5 mins walk with easy access to Salt Mines and Auschwitz, so no need to book tours through hotel, and you’ll save money. Bikes are also available through hotel. "Beautiful hotel in a street leading from main square. The interior of hotel is very pleasing on the eye, a tastefully renovated old palace. I benefitted from a room upgrade and it was faultless, very comfortable and serene. I would not hesitate in recommending Unicus Palace and hope to return one day. "
