"Outside of town slightly easily reached by local bus or a walk, but the location was superlative for walks with gorgeous views by the lake and mt Fuji. Good sized room with two beds so room to move. Next to a great Houtou noodle restaurant. "

"This was a cosy, comfy stay for 1 night. Although the owner couldn't speak English, and I can't speak proficient Japanese, the communication worked with the help of translation apps. Although it was snowing outside, the heating in the room warmed us up quickly. Note to say that the walls are quite thin, as you'd expect in a traditionally built Japanese building, so you can for sure hear other guests snoring. Didn't bother me at all though. Was a nice stay. "

"Actually good value if you accept the tatami style bedding. Only problem is that going out of the room to the shared toilets and showers can be freezing as the common areas are not yeated. Hotel looks old. But it was in the centre of Ina, and had good free parking. Room we got for 5 pax was relatively cheap."

"If it is in the very heart of things—the train station, multiple bus routes, all manner of dining options, with a view of Mt. Fuji to boot (though our view was partially obstructed by an electric pole and transformer). It is a bit hard to find, and gave our cabbie a run for his money (we were driving in from another train stop). Better signage is a must!
