"Das Hotel war okay. Es war schwierig auszumachen wo denn eigenlich die Lobby ist. Diese befindet sich im 2.OG unter anderem Namen. Das muss man erst mal wissen und wenn nicht jemand gekommen wäre hätten wir das nicht erfahren. Zudem stimmte die angegebene Telefonnummer nicht. Das Zimmer war okay. Das Frühstück etwas schmal aber die Leute am Empfang waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit."

"The hotel is old and funky. Rooms are adequate, but not as advertised. The room was advertised on Hotels.com as with a desk and WiFi in the room. It had neither and the Alessandra manager was very unapologetic nor helpful at all about these misleading claims. The hotel is also on the THIRD floor (not second floor) with NO Elevator. Not bad once you've moved in, but be aware of having to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs to your room. Staff, other than the manager, was friendly...

"The location is extraordinary, walking distance from most interesting part of the historical center, next to the fantastic botanical garden. Our room had a big patio where one can sit and enjoy while the sunset takes place. Recommended, one gets what one is promised. "

I stayed there three days and on two of those days, nobody on the staff spoke anything else but the Sicilian dialect. The people were good but had limited ideas on how to run a hotel. Also, a man tried to get his hand into my pocket one evening. It happened just around the corner of my hotel. But this thing might have happened anywhere, I guess."

"This little hotel is right in the middle of a market place selling fish, meat and vegetable. Very crowded and noise laden neighborhoods. The flat is steep upstairs. I opened the room window to get some fresh air and I got mosquito in the room.that I cannot sleep at night. There is no service to speak of because both owners do not stay there. I didn’t have breakfast there because of an early fligh. "
