"We had a lovely 2 week stay in Casa Mare and enjoyed the convenient location close to the beach and all amenities. The owner and his manager Marina were extremely kind and helpful during our stay and were very quick to respond to any queries we had. We enjoyed the beautiful garden which is well maintained and full of frangipani, jasmine and hibiscus, as well as the odd gecko to the delight of our 5 year old grandson. The kitchen, bathrooms and all areas of the house are comfortable and function...

"One of the oldest buildings in Palermo, enter through a tiny door in the wall. Authentic and very central, close to everything. 71 stairs to climb to our room so not for little or old ones first night in Sicily felt really at home"

"The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Petra! We appreciate them letting us check in early since our flight got in early in the day. The apartment is in a very busy area. It was a little loud at night, but we kept the windows closed and it didn't bother us. We had 4 adults and 2 teens and stayed for 2 nights. "This place is one of a kind. Shaped by architects and artists, there is something to delight on every side. The most prominent feature is the huge garden filled with edible plants and trees. There are two spacious tables, one of them in a magical hidden corner. The kitchen is fully equipped to make any mean you fancy. Every bedroom is different in furnishings. the location is near a delightful town square off the beaten track. We cannot speak too highly of this Sicilian gem."
