"If logistics matters to you then this is the best location to be in, bar none. However it is basic and loud till 4am and not sure if the air con works or was just turned off. You do have a popular bar at street level only seconds from your room"

"We wanted a one night stay in a quiet location but near the harbour. This apartment hotel was perfect for our needs. We were able to check in early which was a bonus and after we checked out they kindly looked after our luggage for 3 hours. The room had a good fridge and good kitchen amenities. The bathroom also had a bath with toiletries. The air conditioning was very good too. Reception were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money."

This was in the main street central to all amenities, although up two lots of winding stairs, so may be difficult for some.. It was very comfortable and quiet. good wifi, very clean. "Hotel Esperides is a lovely quiet hotel on the main road just across from the road into Myrtos, a quiet tourist town on the southern coast of Crete. Wonderful breakfast for 9 euros per person, with large assortment of foods. Small elevator available. "Booked for 15 nights as we where on a late flight 11pm, didn't know we could have kept the room on until 6pm for 20e, Brilliant service from start to end, no problems at all , The room was basic but we are used to this in Greece after all you only shower and sleep there so no need for glam as long as it's clean and a comfy bed which it had and the price we paid was well worth it. Would definitely recommend and won't hesitate to rebook when we return one day."
