"Pros: --Comfy bed, efficient aircon. --Love the mysterious coldwar-era rotary phones (sadly, no dial tone). They complement the building, which is like a trip back in time. Cons: --Bathroom doors have slats, and where a closable window could exist, a screen separates the bathroom from the hallway. "Great local area. There isn't really much to look at the city it self as a tourist. However, it is great place to just relax and chill before you head into the big city. Local market was small but fun to walk around. Foods were good and very cheap. There is a street vendor on the way to the market that sells a fish soup with rice that was really great(add a little bit of hot pepper, and black pepper to it). "The cafe next to the hostel is bright and beautiful. The whole building has a lovely vibe. Bed is a little uncomfortable probably due to the thin mattress and hard pillow. Breakfast porridge is delicious. Overall a pleasant stay for our family."
