"Great local area. There isn't really much to look at the city it self as a tourist. However, it is great place to just relax and chill before you head into the big city. Local market was small but fun to walk around. Foods were good and very cheap. There is a street vendor on the way to the market that sells a fish soup with rice that was really great(add a little bit of hot pepper, and black pepper to it). "This is nice place to stay at Muang Pan which nearby Buddhist Temple Wat Chaloem Phrakiat Phrachomklao Rachanuson (only 10 minute car drive). Not much insects inside the room as other review, clean, friendly owner and nice pork porridge in the morning too. Convenient as 7-11 nearby. Great location to see Chaloem Phrakiat Temple on top of the mountain from Him Doy Muang Pan resort. "
