"It was a great place for a great price. It was half the price of hotels from Palo Alto to that location. I would give it 5 stars yet- There was rust around the bottom of the sink some bathroom grout and a little damage at the baseboard of the tub. The toilet top was not on right and the toilet running. However - the rest of the room was very clean- everything else was wonderful. It was a great place to stay and I would stay there again. You'll not be able to find as nice of a hotel in the area...

"I love staying here. They’re always friendly and kind, but they need to upgrade some of their things. Toilets are way too low water pressure was horrible and electrical outlets next to the bed are inconvenient."

"Marea Sol is in an amazing location! We parked in a safe location when we arrived and didn't get back into the car until it was time to leave. The rooftop views are stunning. Staff~ John & Leilani were friendly and helpful. Well definitely go back to Marea Sol."

"We loved the spacious Beach House Suite with ocean views! The room was clean and the beds were all very comfortable. Plenty of pillows to go around for the four of us. The location is perfect, directly across from the beach, pier and boardwalk. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Santa Cruz and the Beach Street Inn have awesome vibes! "
