"This was a lovely place to stay and enjoy the Salisbury Cathedral city experience. Lots of positive points: quiet rooms, truly wonderful hospitality, proximity to the cathedral and town centre, great buffet breakfast, reasonable price. And the highlight was being able to stroll across the road to experience the beauty of a cathedral choral evensong service, with a superb Bach cantata and wonderful organ music (though you can access that even if staying elsewhere). "Basic hotel but the breakfast was really good and it was in a good location."

"Hotel is a fabulous property and has a felling from another era. Staff are helpful and friendly and service was great. Rooms were clean and everywhere felt well kept. We only had one issue and that was with the bed mattress as it was a wire sprung mattress and felt very uncomfortable to us as we prefer modern hybrid mattresses. This would not stop us from staying here again as everything else was great."
