"I think HAOSTAY is very value for money as the rooms are big (as of Japan standards) and it offers a great view of Fuji from the room window and rooftop. The Japanese or sandwich breakfast options were great. It is a 15 min walk from the train station which is manageable. For transport to the train station, they have fixed vehicle trips at 9am, 9.30am and 10am. It is recommended to book them the night beforehand as there are only spaces for approx 7-9pax. All in all, I would definitely come...

"Although Samurise was on the other side of the town, it was very nice. We liked that a 711 and a family mart is right next door. The local bus stop was also very close by, easy to get around. The hostel had very limited hours wire staff. We would have to wait until 11 am just to rent a bike and they were not flexible with renting to us earlier. So a lot of waiting around. Wish they could be more flexible considering we were staying there anyway. "
