"The hotel’s location to numerous stores, bars, & restaurants within the Gaslamp is very convenient, however like much of Downtown San Diego, the homeless problem is prevalent. There wasn’t a day where we didn’t encounter homeless individuals while walking to/from the hotel. The hotel renovations are brand new and in some cases ongoing (lobby area). "The stay was good. When I checked out I saw a charge for the room on my account even though I had booked through Expedia.com and paid with my CC. They charged my bank account. I called and saw a reverse for the charge and on Wednesday I saw the charge went through. I called and the employee who answers was very rude.
