"We thoroughly enjoyed staying here during whale season, helping with volunteer whale counting. The house was great, well furnished, and with extras, spices, snorkel gear, beach towels, beach chairs. It's location in Puako is superb, very quiet. Views of the surf through trees across the street. Views of night sky very special, extra clear. Snorkeling was a little rough, was winter, had snorkeled here in Sept and nicer. But still saw and photographed good variety of fish. There are nice...

The host Katie is very responsive and communicative. Her place comes with some extra nice to haves (laundry, beach towels/chairs, sunblock, etc). Would recommend staying here."

"This property was exactly as listed if not better. Whale watching from the porch anytime of day; or lounging in the sun overlooking the ocean. The serenity of being immersed in nature ; from the birds, horses, frogs, geckos. The night sky was absolutely magnificent. And occasionally able to see the silhouette of Maui. Thats all, and then the actual views of the healing energy of Waipio Valley. I enjoyed having a little haven to go to after a day of sight seeing! The house was completely stocked...
