"Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. We stayed at 5 of Toyoko Inns...

I wasn't expecting much, but if this was the price range of Daiwa hotels in other Prefectures, and if the quality is consistent then I'd definitely keep booking! First of all, the hotel seems pretty new, or at least recently renovated. Interiors are modern & up to date. Staff are friendly & helpful. "Super nice getaway. There is not much around but this hotel is pretty much an all inclusive. They feed you breakfast and dinner buffet with late night snack as well. The food was great and overall was highly impressed with the value. Be careful planning your transportation too and from though as it is very limited. "

"Excellent location. This is a small hotel surrounded by restaurants, cafés, etc. As it was a tatami room, I was expecting the possibility of musky odor, but thankfully there was none! 😊 Room was just right for 3 people max. The futon was soft & comfy & warm despite the crazy Akita winter (personally it was too warm, I was sweating. 😂) The only con is, because we left the window slightly ajar for air flow, we could hear the very loud & obnoxious laugh from another guest's room (I think?)...
