"This hotel is a hidden gem. I love it so much I almost don’t want to review it so it doesn’t get too booked. The rooms are large and well appointed with TV, microwave, and mini fridge. Most importantly they are pristinely clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and highly efficient. The location is perfect and parking is on site and garaged. You absolutely cannot beat this value. I am a repeat guest—anytime I am in Oakland for business, this is where I stay. "

"We were going to a show at the Oakland Arena and the La Quinta is very close so we could walk and miss the traffic and parking fee. The staff was very nice, room was clean, free breakfast, free on site parking and pet friendly. The area around the hotel seemed sketchy and a police officer warned us to be very careful while walking."

"Great, affordable hotel with good room options. We wanted more than two beds and they had some with multiple bunk beds. The room is cozy and not a lot of extra space, but worked well for a bed and bathroom. The lounge area is also nice with some couches, tables, and a coffee machine. Location was great, too."

"My stay here is wonderful, super affordable and access to kitchen and refridge was great plus, needs a bit of housekeeping for kitchen area and soaps. My overall experience was great compare to the price, noise is an issue if you stay by the main road side and you are trying to have a meeting. "
