"The property showed on Expedia is very misleading. I booked 2 rooms and paid over $300 per room and it should have been $50 a night. The lobby had no air conditioning. The carpet is old and had a weird smell. The rooms had paint coming off the walls. Everything was old and our bathroom had spiders. We checked in at 11:00pm and checked out the same night at 11:10pm. There was only one other guest staying at the same time as us, and Ken offered us the use of two rooms of our choice to better accommodate our family, free of charge. The guesthouse itself is about what you’d expect for the price, but it was very charming and it was easy to see that he’d put a lot of thought into modernizing the place.
